Climate resilience commons
Community water, habitat restoration, and practical adaptation projects with public evidence.
How can community funding support local climate resilience on Tezos?COMMONS RELAY / COMMUNITY-DIRECTED PUBLIC GOODS
Commons Relay is an experimental public-goods funding mechanism designed for Tezos. In the proposed model, 50% supports a chosen campaign and 50% enters a pool routed by people holding nontransferable Steward Keys.
Keys provide allocation responsibility—not money, ownership, profit, or resale rights. This V3 is a view-only simulation. No wallet connects and no funds move.
THE MECHANISM / READ LEFT TO RIGHT
Holding a credential creates a bounded public duty. It never creates a claim on somebody else’s contribution.
INTERACTIVE DESIGN RECORD / NO TRANSACTION
Use fictional demo tez to inspect the mechanism. All amounts, eligibility states, and receipts below are illustrative prototypes.
DISCOVERY / THREE CONSTELLATIONS
Constellations make related public work discoverable without turning campaigns into tradable assets.
Community water, habitat restoration, and practical adaptation projects with public evidence.
How can community funding support local climate resilience on Tezos?Independent publishing, creative grants, and reusable knowledge held in common.
How can participatory grantmaking support independent culture on Tezos?Food, tools, and neighborhood capacity organized around durable local care.
How can a community route shared funding toward mutual aid and repair?PUBLIC RULES / BEFORE ANY FUTURE MONEY
Steward Keys provide limited allocation responsibility. They provide no cash, ownership, repayment, revenue share, yield, appreciation, or resale rights.
The primary half follows the contributor’s stated choice. All six records here are illustrative prototypes.
Half is assigned to the chosen record. Half enters the Commons pool for a separate allocation decision.
An active Steward Key carries one expiring allocation credit. It cannot receive, redeem, or trade the pool.
The amount, destination, steward decision, rule basis, and simulation status remain readable as a public record.
A legible way for people to direct shared support across a field of public work.
No holder receives cash merely for holding a key. No key is bought, sold, or priced.
Any future pooled mechanism remains disabled until legal, operational, treasury, incident-response, and independent contract-audit requirements are complete.
PLAIN-LANGUAGE ANSWERS / CITEABLE RECORD
These answers describe the V3 prototype exactly as it exists on this page.
Commons Relay is a proposed public-goods funding mechanism in which half of a contribution supports one chosen project and half is collectively routed to another eligible project.
In the proposed model, 0.5 tez would support the selected campaign and 0.5 tez would enter the Commons pool. This page uses demo tez only; it does not move cryptocurrency.
No. A Steward Key can direct one allocation credit during a round, but it cannot withdraw the pool or receive a payment merely because somebody holds the credential.
No. It is designed as a nontransferable participation credential with no cash, ownership, profit, appreciation, repayment, or resale rights.
A future live project would need to publish its purpose, accountable people, use of funds, conflicts, reporting plan, recipient controls, and failure policy. Every V3 eligibility label is illustrative, not completed verification.
The proposed no-quorum rule rolls the Commons pool into the next round. It does not silently revert to Allworthy, an operator, or a token holder.
No. V3 accepts nothing and holds nothing. Any future pooled mechanism remains disabled until its legal, operational, treasury, incident-response, and independent-audit requirements are complete.
No. It is a Tezos-oriented interactive design record. It does not connect to a wallet, issue a token, deploy a contract, or create an operation hash.
No. The prototype offers no ownership, repayment, revenue share, yield, appreciation, or resale rights.
